Description
The Murmuration Three Bird Pendant is a handmade sterling silver pendant featuring three birds in flight, held within a softly squared frame. Each bird is saw pierced and hand engraved, then polished so the surface catches the light as it moves. This is an intentionally rustic piece with rough lines and imperfect surfaces — a natural vibe and wonderful in a stack of chains. No two pendants are the same.
I make this handmade silver necklace in my Glasgow, Scotland studio. The pendant is light and easy to wear. The birds move together giving a feeling of uplift. It’s the kind of jewellery that makes people lean in, then smile when they see what’s happening.
Part of the Murmuration Collection, this hand-engraved sterling silver pendant is about connection, shared movement, and paying attention to one another. Murmurations happen because each bird responds to the group in real time, shaping the whole through small adjustments. This silver bird necklace carries feels calm, intentional, and uplifting.

Customs & import fees
Buyers in the United States should be aware that tariffs imposed by the US Government will increase the base cost of each piece. We will pay these in advance to hasten clearance customs and avoid any surprise charges on receipt.
For customers outside the UK and USA, your order may be subject to import duties or customs fees once it arrives in your country. These are determined locally, so it’s worth checking in advance so you’re not surprised. Unfortunately I can’t cover or refund these charges.
If an item is returned to me because customs fees weren’t paid, I can issue a refund (minus shipping) once it’s safely back with me.
Sterling silver loves to be worn — your skin’s natural oils actually help keep it bright. When you’re not wearing it, tuck it away in an airtight pouch to slow down tarnish.
Keep it dry and away from lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products (they’re not its friends). When it needs a little refresh, use warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth — no dips or harsh cleaners, especially on oxidised pieces.
We’ll include a polishing cloth with every piece of jewellery. If it starts to look a bit dull, give it a gentle polish, avoiding areas that have oxidation (the blackened bit of silver).
