Description
The Murmuration Flock Brooch is a handmade sterling silver brooch showing a small flock of polished silver birds flying against an oxidised silver background. Set in a gently egg-shaped shadowbox, the contrast gives the piece a quiet depth – high end without being highbrow.
Part of the Murmuration Collection, this brooch carries the common thread about staying connected, moving together, and keeping track of the folks out on the edges. Handmade and finished in my Glasgow studio, and hallmarked for trust. The brooch closes snugly with a stainless steel bar back.
Great as a scarf pin, on a lapel, or even your favourite bag.

Customs & import fees
Buyers in the United States should be aware that tariffs imposed by the US Government will increase the base cost of each piece. We will pay these in advance to hasten clearance customs and avoid any surprise charges on receipt.
For customers outside the UK and USA, your order may be subject to import duties or customs fees once it arrives in your country. These are determined locally, so it’s worth checking in advance so you’re not surprised. Unfortunately I can’t cover or refund these charges.
If an item is returned to me because customs fees weren’t paid, I can issue a refund (minus shipping) once it’s safely back with me.
Sterling silver loves to be worn — your skin’s natural oils actually help keep it bright. When you’re not wearing it, tuck it away in an airtight pouch to slow down tarnish.
Keep it dry and away from lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products (they’re not its friends). When it needs a little refresh, use warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth — no dips or harsh cleaners, especially on oxidised pieces.
We’ll include a polishing cloth with every piece of jewellery. If it starts to look a bit dull, give it a gentle polish, avoiding areas that have oxidation (the blackened bit of silver).
