Description
This chunkier version of my Self Love Pendant is a handmade sterling silver pendant shaped like a small figure wrapping their arms around themselves for a warm hug. It’s made with the traditional wax carving and sand casting techniques, delightfully rounded, with a lovely little heft to it and a warm feeling when you wear it. It’s a little grounding reminder you can carry with you.
I make this handmade silver necklace in my Glasgow, Scotland studio. The polished silver catches the light, while the engraved lines give the figure character and tenderness. It’s a little check-in. Like someone saying, “Hey. You’re doing alright.”
This sand cast sterling silver pendant is about self-love that shows up physically, not just as an idea. Customs & import fees
Buyers in the United States should be aware that tariffs imposed by the US Government will increase the base cost of each piece. We will pay these in advance to hasten clearance customs and avoid any surprise charges on receipt.
For customers outside the UK and USA, your order may be subject to import duties or customs fees once it arrives in your country. These are determined locally, so it’s worth checking in advance so you’re not surprised. Unfortunately I can’t cover or refund these charges.
If an item is returned to me because customs fees weren’t paid, I can issue a refund (minus shipping) once it’s safely back with me.
Sterling silver loves to be worn — your skin’s natural oils actually help keep it bright. When you’re not wearing it, tuck it away in an airtight pouch to slow down tarnish.
Keep it dry and away from lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products (they’re not its friends). When it needs a little refresh, use warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth — no dips or harsh cleaners, especially on oxidised pieces.
We’ll include a polishing cloth with every piece of jewellery. If it starts to look a bit dull, give it a gentle polish, avoiding areas that have oxidation (the blackened bit of silver).
